Live Corporate Event Music FAQ
How Much is Live Corporate Event Music?
A solo instrument for a one hour local booking starts around $300. Many of our corporate events fall between $2000-$5000
Do The Musicians Take Breaks?
The longest our musicians can play without a break is 2 hours. So, if the engagement is 2 hours long we can play straight through. For Corporate Events and Dinners there is often a program. We like to learn the timetable for speakers and presentations ahead of time. Then we break during the program, while our clients enjoy more music throughout the evening. Anytime our performers take a break they put on pre-recorded music to fill the air.
Are you Insured?
Yes! Music Dept carries event liability insurance with the coverage needed to meet the requirements of NYC area venues and commercial buildings.
What Time Will You Arrive?
Generally our leaders and/or tech-crew will arrive no later than 2-hours before a room will be open to your guests. Side-Musicians arrive no-later than 1 hour before. We understand that some events require earlier arrival times, and we are happy to accommodate those requests.
Do You Only Have Musicians?
No, we have a wide variety of specialty entertainers: Circus Style Performers, Corporate Magicians, Mentalists, Actors, Costumed Characters, and Dancers.
Will You Customize for Our Event?
Absolutely! Everything from our songs to wardrobe can be customized. We have created a 7-decade medley to celebrate an organization’s 70 years in business. For less formal events, it’s also common for us to wear our client’s branded apparel like hats or T-shirts.
What about Non-Disclosure Agreement/NDA?
We totally understand if you want to keep everything about your event private. Just let us know and we will not photograph, post, or share anything about your private event.
